The role of Cd24a in the post natal lens

This trancriptome analysis reports genes that are differentially expressed as the result of Germline deletion of the gene Cd24a. Lenses were isolated from 7 week old Wild Type (WT) and Cd24a Germline Knockout mice by microdissection (2 lenses/sample, three biological replicates/genotype) and total RNA was isolated. cDNA libraries were constructed using SMARTer Stranded Total RNA-Seq - Pico Input Mammalian, and sequenced using an Illumina NextSeq 500 (DNA Link USA, Inc) in an attempt to undestand the role of Cd24a in the post natal lens. Each library was sequenced accross 4 flow cell lanes.
