Suppressor mutations were identified by NGS. Genome re-sequencing library was prepared based on the Tn5 transposase mediated tagmentation. Enrichment PCR was performed using the KAPA HiFi HotStart PCR Kit (Kapa Biosystems) and the cycling parameters were as follows: 3 min at 72 °C, 30 s at 95 °C, and then 15 cycles of 10 s at 95 °C, 30 s at 55 °C, and 30 s at 72 °C. The size range of 400–700 bp fragments were selected using the AMPure XP beads (Beckman Coulter). Paired-end sequencing was performed using Illumina HiSeq X Ten sequencers.
