This series consists of registers in volume and card format showing details of various council land acquisitions to enable the construction or development of transport infrastructure. The volumes are arranged numerically and capture a range of transactions by the acquiring authority including acquisition logs, valuation fees, reimbursements, sale or lease transactions and fees through dealings with land owners within various council areas.The cards are arranged alphabetically and capture the name of the owner and address details of the property, related file numbers, particulars of the property, improvement and tenancy details, the method of acquisition and particulars of the gazettal or contract.
