This experiment will follow "in-situ" the phase transition from paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic of CoO. We will observe the evolution of two non collinear reflections of choice from room temperature, where CoO shows rock salt structure, to a target temperature below Tn (293 K). The temperature will be controlled through external cooling using a LN2 cryostat. The study will be performed through reciprocal space maping and raster scanning and full field imaging of the CoO in ID01.Through the evaluation of the results from high resolution reciprocal space mapping and texture and strain mapping, in combination with group theory we expect to draw a clearer picture identifying the symmetry of the observed domain walls and consequently the indexing of the twinned domains.
