Data_and_Code for Ombadi et al. Increased Dependency on Extreme Precipitation in a Warmer Climate

Main Data files are stored in the subfolder "Data Files". This contains NASA Mean Global Temperature Data and HadEX3 data for both precipitation totals (PRCPTOT) and R95p.Result files are stored in the subfolder "Result Files". This is further divided into 4 sub-folders: ar6_regions (data aggregated at the scale of IPCC AR6 regions), CMIP6_baseline (annual precipitation and R95p arrays for each year in the baseline period 1950-1979 for each CMIP6 model), CMIP6_projected (same as for CMIP6_baseline, but for projected data under different GWLs), and prc_change_results for the analysis presented in Figure 3.Codes are in the main folder in the format of Jupyter notebooks. Downloading the main file and unzip it in your local machine will enable running the codes on your machine.
