Irrigated Acreage Within the Basin and Range Carbonate-Rock Aquifer System, White Pine County, Nevada and Adjacent Areas in Nevada and Utah Field Verification Global Position System (GPS) Waypoints

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. Delineated irrigated acreage in 2005 was field verified from September 26 to 29 and November 1 to 3 , 2005. Fields were visited to confirm that irrigation had occurred in remotely delineated polygons. The irrigation method, crop type, and water source for each field also was inventoried.
