Influence of Genotype and Agronomic Management on Rhizospheric Fungal Communities in Native Andean Potatoes

We profiled ITS2 amplicons from rhizosphere soils of two native Solanum tuberosum genotypes grown under organic and conventional management in La Pazos (Huancavelica, Peru), integrating community structure, functional guild annotation, supervised classification, and edaphic correlations. Community composition differed by both management and genotype, with organic management associated with higher richness/diversity and a shift toward hymenium-type saprotrophs and root-associated endophytes.
