Internet of Thing (IoT) for better living with alternative designs of DIY products

Currently, while the world is doing revolution from industry 3.0 to industry 4.0 that is a concept of digitization, IoT platform has been considered and continuously revaluated to make people feel more comfortable and safer. Presented in this researchare about the applications of IoT which are expressed through three case studies: smart cold room, smart bag, and smart UV box. The notification for announcing the defected items or failed conditions occurred can be quickly shown on the screen of the mobile phone. The ability of mobile/network controlling system of IoT can help the user to prevent exposing the radiation, heat or dangerous situation directly face to face, since the machine or device can be controlled its functions from anywhere around the world. Advantages and disadvantages of IoT applications will be presented and discussed inthis research.
