EVCS Site Features and Transaction Data for Greater Jakarta

This dataset contains spatial, demographic, and infrastructural features of candidate Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) locations in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan region. It includes 137 sites with 21 attributes describing accessibility, socio-economic indicators, road networks, land use, and energy capacity, as well as transaction-based popularity labels (high vs. low utilization). The dataset was developed to support predictive modeling of EVCS popularity under conditions of limited historical charging data, addressing the “cold start” problem in early EV adoption contexts. The data have been used in machine learning experiments combining spatial interpolation (IDW, Kriging), class balancing strategies, and SHAP-based feature importance to guide strategic deployment of fast and ultra-fast chargers in Jakarta.
