The numbers of deaths, frequency of hospitalization and PEW were higher in Group 1 than in the other groups. Values are expressed as mean ± standard deviation. Serum intact PTH level and vintage are presented as median and interquartile range. The values were compared between the datasets by the chi-square test, one-way analysis of variance, or Kruskal-Wallis test as appropriate.
