Diatom communities from temporary rivers over time (Catalonia, Spain)

This dataset includes 6 sites with diatom counts associated with three temporary rivers (Catalonia, Spain). Diatom data represents epilythic samples collected at two points of each of the three rivers (Valcebre, Talamanca, and Daró) during 2-3 different sampling periods from July to October in 2020. The dataset has been formatted following the standards of the Tropical South American Diatom Database (https://zenodo.org/records/5721364)—a database constituent of Neotoma (www.neotomadb.org), a global community-curated database by regional experts for multiple types of paleoecological data—and as part of the project "DiatomS mEEt Databases: resources and practices to enable large-scale ecological research (SEED)" funded by the International Society for Diatom Research (https://isdr.org/early-career-networking-award/).
