Life Cycle Inventory datasets of foamed geopolymer panels for thermal insulation

This repository contains the Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) datasets developed for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of foamed geopolymer panels produced from metakaolin and biomass fly ashes. The panels were designed for use in thermal insulation applications. The spreadsheet 'Life_Cycle_Inventories_Foamed_Geopolymer_Thermal_Insulation.xlsx' provides detailed unit processes and life cycle inventory datasets for the reference geopolymer and all sensitivity analyses. The inventories reflect the full foreground system modeled in the study, including raw material production, panel manufacturing at semi-industrial scale (2 tons slurry/batch), and end-of-life processes. Additional inventories were developed for materials and chemicals not fully covered by the ecoinvent database (v3.10), including metakaolin, potassium silicate, biomass-derived ashes, rice husk ashes (RHA), and RHA-derived sodium silicate solution.
