To investigate the microRNAs (miRNAs) expression profiles in human apheresis platelet under platelet storage lesion (PSL), and predict the potential biomarkers in the process of PSL. miRNAs profiles of platelets were tested by illumina HiSeq2500 between PSL and nonPSL. 13 miRNAs were chosen to validate by real-time PCR, the result was consistent with the sequencing results. Platelet samples were collected from 6 male healthy donors with O blood group. Apheresis platelets were stored at 22±2 ℃ in storage tank. The PSL was defined as: samples below the lower limit of the reference range of aggregation ratio (<43.25%), or above one of the upper limit of the reference range of CD62P positive ratio (>43.29%), TNF-α (>252.49pg/mL) or sCD40L (>1575.34pg/mL) according to our previous study. Two groups in these samples were used for sequencing analysis.
