Population data for 2023 obtained from ELSTAT at NUTS3 level, including total and age-disaggregated population (0–14, 15–64, 65+). A demographic vulnerability index was constructed as (children + elderly) / total population per region. Outputs include intermediate processing files and final normalized vulnerability rasters used in the wildfire risk workflow.
