Water quality monitoring data (2013–2024) for the industrial river–canal network of northern Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Compiled surface water quality data for 47 monitoring stations in the industrial river–canal network of northern Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Binh Duong Province), Vietnam, for 2013–2024 (3,648 samples). Each sample has pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrite, ammonium, total suspended solids, chemical oxygen demand and total coliform, together with the comprehensive water pollution index (CWPI) and its pollution class. The data were compiled from the publicly available annual monitoring reports of the Binh Duong Center of Natural Resources and Environment Technical-Monitoring (BREM) and checked as described in the accompanying article. The record also contains station metadata, the standard limits used to compute CWPI and the analytical methods.
