This study investigated the alleviating effect of a natural plant extract, 2'-hydroxychalcone (2'-HC), on enteritis in late-stage fattening beef cattle fed with a high-concentrate diet. 24 yellow cattle (Jiaxian Red Cattle), with similar body weight and long-term feeding of high-concentrate diet were selected. After 90 days of feeding different doses (0, 10, and 30 g/day) of 2'-HC. Our study revealed that 2'-HC has the potential to alleviate intestinal inflammation caused by high-concentrate diet.
