Spatial Transcriptome Analysis of human cancer xenograft co-injected with cancer associated fibroblasts

Cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are major components of stromal tissues with functional heterogeneity within different locations within tumor. However, whether and how this spatial heterogeneity of CAFs affect tumor growth remains largely unknown. Here we aim to discover the influence of CAF during early-stage of tumor formation by investigating the difference in spatial genomic pattern within CAF-depleted or CAF-rich tumor. By integrating spatial transcriptomic analysis with histological information of CAF co-injected tumor, we are able to decode the complex interaction in tumor microenvironment with higher resolution.
