Putative single copy exons for Pseudocrenilabrinae and close relatives. Cichlidae

A set of 588 putative single-copy exons was obtained through Illumina high throughput sequencing, using a probe set designed based on Oreochromis niloticus references. Loci were obtained for 165 cichlid species (Pseudocrenilabrinae: 150, Cichlinae: 3, Etroplinae: 5, Ptychochrominae: 7) and 13 non-cichlid blenniiforms, with the aim of inferring phylogenetic relationships of African cichlids and their close cichlid and non-cichlid relatives.
