This dataset is a processed product based on Landsat satellite remote sensing imagery and ERA5 reanalysis data. It encompasses meteorological data for high-temperature days of 41 key node cities along the Belt and Road region from 1961 to 2021, land surface temperature data of typical Mediterranean cities, and local climate zone maps. Specifically, the meteorological data is provided in CSV format, including daily maximum temperature, corresponding relative humidity and apparent temperature on heatwave days. The land surface temperature data and local climate zone maps are distributed in TIFF format, covering the cities of Milan, Beirut and Istanbul. The spatial resolutions of the two datasets are 30 m and 100 m respectively, with their corresponding temporal coverage being 2000 and 2021. This dataset can be applied in various fields including climate change research, urban planning, agriculture, environmental protection, and climate policy formulation for countries along the Belt and Road. The total data volume is 157.37 MB.
