Number of births in Bretagne, France 1946-2021

For the first time in a decade, the number of births increased in the French region of Bretagne. Indeed, 32,065 births were registered in 2021, compared to less than 31,000 the previous year. Since 1946, the year with the highest number of births was 1947, and the year with the lowest was 2020. Between 2013 and 2019, the rate of live births in Bretagne was 10.1 births per 1,000 population.
