We propose a RIXS interferometry experiment at the Br K-edge of the Mott insulators K2OsBr6 and K2RuBr6. The goal is to establish RIXS interferometry at the K-edge of the p-block elements such as Br, Se, and As as a novel means to explore the intriguing properties of 4d transition-metal compounds while using hard X-rays.
