Yellowstone hot spring analysis of 16S rRNA in mat and over-flowing water

We analyzed 16S rRNA sequences to better understand how populations differ along the flow path where chemicals and environmental parameters change relative to distance from the source. We also analyzed the populations in the over-flowing water and how 1) the populations in the mat contributes to the populations in the water, and 2) how the populations in the water effect mat recolonization after disturbance.
