Water temperature and derived water turbulence quantities measured by chipod thermistor chain on the Prediction and Research Moored Array in the Tropical Atlantic, PIRATA, at 0N,23W from 2005-09-23 to 2017-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0191358)

This dataset contains water temperature and derived turbulence quantities inferred from spectral scaling of fast thermistor chain data.These variables were measured in situ with chipod instruments mounted onto a mooring line from the Prediction and Research Moored Array in the Tropical Atlantic, PIRATA, at 0N,23W. The data spans 2005-09-23 to 2017-12-31, with gaps, and at 21, 30, 35, 50, 65, and 81 m depth. Data are in NetCDF.
