The selected viral metagenomic datasets are sequence data from CSF and plasma samples from immunocompromised patients, both with and without enrichment with viral capture probes. Both DNA and RNA were sequenced simultaneously using an Illumina (Novaseq 6000) library preparation protocol with in-house adaptations. Human reads have been removed before uploading.
