WSDOT - Pavement Needs

This data set contains preservation needs for the pavement assets in the state of Washington. These needs are defined by the type of work that needs to be done in order to meet the preservation program requirements. This data is a combination of existing pavement need requirements from the Washington State Preservation Management System (WSPMS) and the Capital Program Development and Management (CPDM) office. The data is up to date as of July 2025. Attribute descriptions are as follows: Need Category: The asset type in which the need is for. Sub Category: The type of need associated with asset. Type of Work: The work needed. Estimated Cost: The estimated cost of the need in dollars. For pavement this is determined by the length and sub category. Need Description: A description of the need, more detailed than the type of work. Need ID: The ID tag for the need.
