X-ray view of a new changing-look AGN discovered by LAMOST quasar survey

Few active galactic nuclei (AGNs) changed from Type 1 to Type 1.82.0, or viceversa. The nature of the transition is still not understood. We propose anXMMNewton observation on a new changinglook AGN, which was discovered inLAMOST quasar survey. The object transitioned from Type 1.9 to Type 1. Inparticular, it was serendipitously detected by the XMMNewton slew survey beforethe transition. Thus a new Xray spectroscopy not only can make a directcomparison of its Xray flux before and after the type transition, but also canconstrain the absorption column density along the line of sight, shedding lighton the nature of the changinglook. Moreover, a simultaneous photometric dataobtained by OM will provide clues of variation in optical band along with the Xrays. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
