Expression, Clinical Significance, and Functional Determination of the transmembrane channel-like protein 8 (TMC8) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma

Public data used in the article. A total of 539 ccRCC samples and 72 paracancer samples with basic information (Supplementary Table 1); The DEGs of ccRCC were identified using the screening criteria of an absolute logFC>2, basemean>1000, P<0.0001, and genes biotyped in protein coding (Supplementary Table 2); The LinkedOmics database was utilized to filter for the most relevant genes of TMC8 in ccRCC (Supplementary Table 3); To identify DEGs between TMC8-high and TMC8-low ccRCC patients, DESeq2 was used on TCGA datasets, with genes having an adjusted P value < 0.05 and absolute fold change >1 considered statistically significant (Supplementary Table 4); The number of migratory cells per field was presented in Supplementary Figure S1.
