Transcriptomic profiling of the Cryptococcus neoformans transition to titan-like cells

We compared the expression profile of titan-like cells with cells of regular size in C. neoformans. This was investigated at different time points of the transition: 7 and 24 h Overall design: A total number of 10 RNA samples from Cryptococcus neoformans are analyzed. Six of them correspond to control growth conditions (three biological replicates taken after 7 hours and three after 24 h of growth). Four of them correspond to titan-like cells promoting growth conditons (two taken after 7 h and two taken after 24 h of growth).
