# COVID Dataset These are **anonymized** surveillance records from a public health system covering roughly a tenth of Mexico's population. The data come from the online epidemiological surveillance system for viral respiratory infections, implemented across more than 1,700 medical units spanning all three levels of care nationwide. The same source supplies a national line-list of suspected and confirmed respiratory cases. Each record carries the household address, the age and sex of the individual, the dates of symptom onset, hospital admission, and death, and a panel of clinical signs. The household address fields were used in an earlier step to derive `house_id` / `cases_at_house` and are **not retained** in this extract.
