Supporting Data for "The Effects of Short-term Dietary Patterns on the Acute Postoperative Pain Model in Mice"

The project of the thesis is to investigate the effects of short-term diet regimes (either a high-fat diet or alternate-day fasting) on the hind-paw incision model of mice and the potential underlying mechanisms. Our study has demonstrated that two weeks of short-term HFD could prolong acute postoperative pain perception in the hind-paw incision model in mice, which mechanism was potentially via down-regulation of serine protease inhibitor. On the contrary, alternate-day fasting was able to alleviate thermal pain responses in the mouse hind-paw incision model. Transcriptomic profiling revealed novel signaling pathways involved in the process of pain relief. The data files contain all the research data necessary to support and validate our research project’s observations, findings and outputs, including both raw data and processed data. These include but are not limited to, raw images of WB and confocal, raw data files of RNA-Sequencing, raw data FCS files for FACS and statistical Prism analysis.<br>
