The large building stands at center with train cars stacks along its right side. Large cylindrical tanks stand next to a small building on the far right. Fields and orange groves lie across the background. Home of the La Verne Cooperative Citrus Association, the largest citrus packing house in Los Angeles County and reputed to be the largest in the state. Oranges, lemons and grapefruit are packed here for shipment to all parts of the United States and Canada. Approximately 1,800 cars of fruit are handled by the association yearly, all marketed by the Mutual Orange Distributors.
