IMAGE FUV WIC dayglow-corrected images

Background-corrected Far-Ultraviolet (FUV) images of the northern hemisphere between 2000-2002 based on the method described by Ohma et al. (2023). The full code with documentation of code and file variables are available at https://github.com/aohma/fuvpy/ and a published version is available from https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.8085691. The images are taken by the The Wideband Imaging Camera (WIC) on the Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE) mission. We thank S. B. Mende and the IMAGE FUV team at the Space Sciences Laboratory at UC Berkeley for the IMAGE FUV data. The original images can be accessed at https://spdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/data/image/fuv/ and were processed using the FUVIEW3 software available from http://sprg.ssl.berkeley.edu/image/.
