This study aims to characterize the temporal dynamics of epiphytic and endophytic microbial communities on jujube fruit (Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. Jingcang 1) during ambient-temperature storage, spanning from healthy to decay stages. Using high-throughput amplicon sequencing (16S rRNA for bacteria, ITS for fungi), we will determine shifts in microbial diversity, structure, and keystone taxa. Integrated bioinformatic analyses will elucidate the associations between microbial succession patterns and key fruit decay factors (e.g., physiological changes, pathogen dominance), providing foundational insights for postharvest preservation strategies.
