Neuromotorische und kognitive Entwicklung risikogeborener Kinder im Alter von fünf Jahren Neuromotoric and Cognitive Development of 5-year-old Children with a Perinatal Risk

ln der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Gruppe perinatal beeinträchtigter 5jähriger Kinder entsprechend dem Verlauf der neuromotorischen Entwicklung beschrieben. Es wird eine Unterteilung in Subgruppen mit spezifischen neuromotorischen Entwicklungsverläufen vorgenommen. Zwei Subgruppen mit im Alter von 5 Jahren neuromotorisch günstig entwickelten Kindern werden hinsichtlich ihrer neuromotorischen und kognitiven Entwicklung mit einer Kontrollgruppe gesundgeborener Kinder verglichen. Es zeigt sich, daß die in der neuromotorischen Entwicklung mit der Kontrollgruppe vergleichbaren Kinder der beiden Subgruppen im Alter von 5 Jahren im Bereich der Konzentration deutlich schlechter abschneiden. Darüber hinaus bestehen auch Defizite im Bereich der verbalen Fähigkeiten, während das allgemeine handlungsbezogene Intelligenzniveau der Risikokinder durchaus mit dem der Kontrollkinder vergleichbar ist. As a result the children of the two subgroups, whose neuromotoric development in the age of five was comparable to that of the control group, showed a significantly lower Performance on a concentration test than those of the control group.
