Biological stability is critical concern in drinking water supply system. Microbial contamination was controlled during treatment process, however the regrowth of bacteria and opportunistic pathogens in distribution system was unavoidable. Understanding the fate and dynamic of microbial community from treatment plant to premise plumbing is important in order to develop the efficient biological water quality management that will ensure safe drinking water at the end of tap.
