Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey and Archaeological Evaluation at Pengilly Way, Hartland, Torridge, Devon, June 2021

This collection comprises geophysical data, images, and site records from a geophysical survey and an archaeological evaluation, on land off Pengilly Way, Hartland, Torridge, Devon. Works were carried out by South West Archaeology Ltd. (SWARCH) for a residential development in June 2021.
The majority of the identified features relate to undated phases of field system that are likely to be post medieval in date, though some features could be prehistoric or Romano-British in date. A single ditch was identified in Trench 03 and a pair of ditches were identified in Trench 04. The results of the archaeological evaluation suggest that any activity on the site was likely to be post medieval or modern in date.
