Genomic assembly of marine plant-associated Colletotrichum sp. CLE4

Colletotrichum sp. CLE4 was previously isolated from Zostera marina rhizome tissues in Bodega Bay, CA. This work seeks to generate a reference genome and annotation for this marine Colletotrichum sp. isolate in order to enable whole genome phylogenetic analysis and comparison to close terrestrial relatives. Ongoing work seeks to understand the nature and evolutionary history of the relationship between this Colletotrichum sp. and Zostera marina.
