Characterisation of the Carpinus betulus L. phyllomicrobiome

This project describes the phyllosphere microbiome (surface washed) from C. betulus trees growing in three different locations in Poland, the city centre of Warsaw (Poland) and two forest sites, of which one natural provincial park and UNESCO world heritage (Bialowieza) and a historical site with a legacy of oil pollution due to refineries (Bóbrka). The aim was to investigate the impact of airborne pollution (PM or VOCs) and environment, on the phyllosphere microbiome at the taxonomical and functional level.
