Datasets avoided by staying up all night under high-pressure academic environment

This dataset was designed using Wenjuanxing (a survey platform) and distributed online. SPSS was used to edit and analyze the Excel data. The questionnaires were collected in December 2025 with no missing questionnaires. Reliability and validity have been verified.This dataset focuses on the relationship between sleep deprivation and task avoidance (procrastination) under high-pressure academic environments, aiming to explore the cognitive-behavioral mechanisms among students' sleep behavior, task aversion, and emotion regulation in academically stressful situations. In recent years, with increasing academic competition among graduate students, compulsive sleep deprivation and academic procrastination have become increasingly common in universities, affecting not only learning efficiency but also posing potential risks to mental health and sleep quality. Therefore, this study collected relevant data through a questionnaire survey to analyze the association patterns between sleep deprivation behavior, task avoidance tendencies, and emotional experiences. The research subjects were primarily graduate students, focusing on second-year master's students, while also including some students from different master's and doctoral programs to ensure sample representativeness. The data included basic demographic information, characteristics of sleep deprivation behavior, degree of task aversion, emotional experiences, and procrastination behavior. This dataset can provide empirical evidence for understanding the behavioral regulation mechanisms of students under high-pressure academic environments and provide a reference for the development of mental health intervention and academic support strategies in universities.
