In the present study, we applied microarray technology to analyse the expression profiles of lncRNAs and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) in the hippocampus of rats in a validated AD model. Additionally, gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses were performed to predict the biological roles and potential signalling pathways of these differentially expressed lncRNAs. Overall design: Hippocampal lncRNA and mRNA profiles of the AD group and the control group. Each group included 3 hippocampal tissue which were submitted to microarray analysis according to the Agilent One-Color Microarray-Based Gene Expression Analysis protocol (Agilent Technology).
