REMix-Eur: A comprehensive data collection in high spatial, temporal and technological resolution for sector-integrated European energy system modelling
收藏资源简介:
Overview The REMix-Eur data set is a comprehensive collection of data to model the European energy system. It contains techno-economic data as well as data on capacity boundaries for more than 100 different technologies and a geographical scope of 70 regions in Europe. These 70 regions are also documented in the dataset. If data was created using open-source software, configuration files to recreate the provided files are contained. Compared to other publications of energy system data for the European energy system, this data collection sets itself apart by one or a combination of the following features: European scope (70 regions) demand data for three different future demand scenarios including hourly heat profiles ELEC: focus on electrification, hydrogen used only H2: hydrogen more broadly deployed SYN: reliance on synthetic fuels high technological granularity, especially for the heat sector electricity and gas network capacities in common aggregation Structure of data collection This data collection contains three different kinds of data: (1) metadata: metadata files in the OEMetadata format (`oemetadata.json`) and an own format with additional processing information OEMetadata currently does not support (`sources.json`), as well as geo files that map NUTS regions to model region names(2) techno-economic data: data related to costs of technologies and commodities(3) capacity boundaries: profiles and annual sums on demand, import, installed and installable capacities for different technologies and/or commodities The data collection contains one hybrid file `additional-parameters.yaml` in which techno-economic and capacity-boundary data are both present to be related information in a common file. Metadata Information on all data sources is collected in `oemetadata.json`. The keys and structure follow what Open Energy Metadata proposes in its schema in version 2.0.4. For further information on processing of sources, you can consult the additional `sources.json` with explanation of its keys in `sources_readme.json`. Licence This data collection is published under the CC BY 4.0 licence. For detailed information on licences of specific source files, please refer to the comprehensive documentation of sources. Acknowledgement The REMix-Eur data collection was primarily established during the project Fahrplan Gaswende funded by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) under grant number 03EI1030B.
