Structural Annotation of Passion Fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims) Genome Assembly, Protein-coding genes

The primary goal of these analyses were to determine exon–intron boundaries on the genome assembly of Passiflora edulis Sims for a number of transcripts based on extrinsic evidence from RNA-Seq data, to project these structures onto the genome sequence assembly and to estimate their expression levels in the samples. These analyses will be invaluable in developing further genotyping systems of SNPs based on target-sequencing methods for Passifloraceae family representative species.
