A Structured Dataset on Global Research of Violence Against Women: Bibliometric, Geopolitical and Thematic Dimensions (2011–2025)

This dataset provides a structured and multidimensional representation of scientific production on violence against women (VAW), integrating bibliometric metadata, thematic information derived from topic modeling (NMF), geospatial variables, and socioeconomic indicators from global databases (e.g., World Bank). Constructed through a systematic review following PRISMA-ScR guidelines, the dataset includes 580 peer-reviewed articles published between 2011 and 2025, indexed in PubMed, Web of Science, and LILACS. Study selection combined manual screening with machine learning-assisted classification to ensure scalability and methodological rigor. The dataset supports bibliometric, thematic, geospatial, and cross-country comparative analyses, enabling the investigation of relationships between scientific production, public policies, and structural social determinants. It is provided in interoperable formats (CSV/JSON) and accompanied by documentation and code to support reproducibility and reuse in data science, public health, and social research contexts.
