Research data supporting "Modeling carbon dioxide removal via sinking of particulate organic carbon from macroalgae cultivation"
收藏资源简介:
All the relevant data (simulated and downloaded) and codes (model and postprocessing) for the following paper are shared here. Chen S, Strong-Wright J and Taylor JR (2024) Modeling carbon dioxide removal via sinking of particulate organic carbon from macroalgae cultivation. Front. Mar. Sci. 11:1359614. doi: 10.3389/fmars.2024.1359614 The specific early version of OceanBioME, based on which a carbon-limited photosynthesis is considered, is shared here at github: https://github.com/syou83syou83/OceanBioME_paper. Send me a request (chensi.cs001@gmail.com) if you want to access to this version. A kelp density of 100 fronds/m corresponds to 100/(20m*20m)=0.25 fronds/m^3. The subpolar_BGC1111.nc and subpolar_physics.nc ranges from 2020.1.1 to 2020.12.31. The folders are named as follows: for example, kelp10_11 indicates a run with kelp density of 10 fronds/m, with the version(11 here) being irrelevant to readers. withoutkelp11 indicates a run without kelp. The models were run for 4 years and the output is saved daily. Please refer to the paper, the Github repository of OceanBioME, and the codes for further details.
