Morphometric data of Tsunami Boulder Deposits from Els Bancals (Mallorca, NW Mediterranean)

This dataset contains morphometric data of coastal boulders located at Els Bancals (Mallorca, NW Mediterranean). The dataset includes the geographical position (ETRS 89, 31N) and size measurements (length, width, and height - a,b,c axes) of individual boulders mapped in the field. These data were collected to characterize the spatial distribution, dimensions, and potential transport mechanisms of boulders in this coastal sector. The dataset provides a basis for analyzing coastal dynamics, extreme wave and tsunami impacts, and geomorphological processes in rocky shore environments. It can be used for validation of numerical models of tsunami-induced boulder transport, comparison with other Mediterranean sites, and for long-term monitoring of coastal hazard indicators.
