Multi-Omics analysis to gain novel insights into clear cell renal carcinoma aetiology and progression. The DNA methylation data of 121 clear clear renal carcinoma (ccRCC) were integrated with WGS and transcriptomic data using Multi-Omics Factor Analysis (MOFA) to detect the inter-patient variations related to aetiological and disease progression related factors. At the discovery phase, MOFA analysis integrated the DNA methylation (The Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip v1), transcriptomic, and WGS data of overlapping tumor samples to explore the major sources of ccRCC inter-patient variation captured by MOFA latent factors. At the validation phase, we used LASSO models to build signatures of MOFA factors in other datasets.
