A dataset of 1km Grid irrigation canals and ditches Density in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(2020）

As an important ecological corridor in agricultural ecosystems, ditches not only have the functions of water collection, retention, and flow channels, but also have biodiversity conservation and various wetland ecological values, playing a role in water quality purification and maintaining biodiversity. Ditch density is an important indicator of a certain regional ditch structure, which can directly reflect the configuration of ditches and the drainage and irrigation capacity of farmland. This dataset is based on the 2020 National Land Change Survey data. The software is used to extract the skeleton lines of ditches and canals, and the kilometer grid production tool is used. Through grid space calculation, the 2020 Beijing Tianjin Hebei 1km grid ditch density dataset is obtained. This dataset can be used for research in rural planning, convenience of farmland irrigation and drainage, evaluation of farmland quality, and evaluation of farmland assets.
