These files consist of petition forms, standard letters and other representation documents, which form part of organised campaigns relating to issues of major public interest and representations from individuals concerning issues of continued public interest.The files include representations relating to such issues as: daylight saving; the quality of education; the establishment of legal casinos; airport proposals; awards nominations and recipients; environmental issues; preservation and restoration of historic buildings; legalisation of off-course betting; the amalgamation of local councils; employment; transport; closure of hospitals and schools; task forces; and road safety.If sent, formal replies and occasionally substantive replies approved by the Premier are also included in files. The files are made up of hand written and typed documents arranged with the year as a prefix to the file number e.g.  76/605/3D
