As part of the research project “KoLepP”, the cooperation of teachers and other educational staff at all-day schools was examined for transitional recommendations and individual support. To this end, parents of fourth graders, fourth grade teachers, educational staff, fourth graders and principals from elementary schools participated. There are three partially different questionnaires per respondent group: Wave 1, Wave 2: Continuence, Wave 2: New. The number of items per question varies in part within a group of respondents. Content: 1. Parents survey Demography (responding person and his/her partner): Gender, age, relationship with the school child; country of origin; highest school degree; vocational training qualification; employment status; Information on occupation and extent of employment. Information about the offer of the school of the child: Participation of the child in the full-time offer; Reasons for participating in the full-time offer, satisfaction with different aspects of the school; school recommendation of the child. Performance and household of the child: Desired and expected graduation of the child; grades of the child, results of the child at the last learning status survey; number of books and lexicon in the household; number of different electronic devices, cars, bathrooms, dishwashers and internet connections in the household; frequency of different recreational activities. Additions and derived variables: Occupational coding according to ISCO 88 (International standard classification of occupations); ISEI; occupational prestige (after Treiman). 2. Teachers survey Demography: Gender; age; work experience; work experience at current school; volume of occupation. (Number of items per question is partially different between first and second wave) information on activity: Class teacher of a fourth grade; total number of fourth grade in working time; hitherto transitional recommendations in fourth grades; collaboration with pedagogical staff and number of staff of pedagogical staff. Cooperation among teaching staff: Information on the social climate among the teaching staff; frequency of cooperation with teachers on supporting offers/ transitional recommendations. Cooperation with pedagogical staff : Occasions for cooperation with educational staff; cooperation and social climate between teachers and pedagogical staff; frequency of cooperation in supporting offers/ transitional recommendations/ homework assistance; frequency of different forms of communication with pedagogical staff; assessment of the right distribution of tasks between pedagogical staff and teachers; current own time expenditure for different tasks. Information on the preparation of transitional recommendations: Manner of preparation of transitional recommendations; consideration of different aspects of transitional recommendations. (Only wave 2: Dealing with transitional recommendations at school: Offers from the school and the council to assist with transitional recommendations; communication to school on transitional recommendations.) 3. Pedagogical staff survey Demography: Gender; age; information on educational qualification; work experience; work experience at current school; volume of occupation. Information on activity: Cooperation with teachers; supervision of fourth graders; activity in open full-time; activity in morning class. Cooperation with teachers: Occasions for cooperation with teachers; cooperation and social climate between teachers and pedagogical staff; frequency of cooperation in support offers/ transitional recommendations; homework assistance; frequency of different forms of communication with teachers; assessment of the correct distribution of tasks between teachers and pedagogical staff; current own time expenditure for different tasks. Cooperation among pedagogical staff: Information on social climate among educational staff; frequency of cooperation with pedagogical staff in support offers. 4. Students survey Demography: Gender, age Assessment of the classroom climate and teacher support. (Only wave 2: Language spoken in the household; future school attendance in the next year; indication of the name of the future school.) Information on afternoon care: Participation in afternoon care; satisfaction with caregivers; assessment of the afternoon care environment and supervisor support. Information on the lessons: Grades of the last certificate in different subjects; (Only wave 1 and new wave 2 respondents: Interest in lessons; interest in mathematics/ german; enjoyment of lessons and striving for good performance; frequency of negative feelings/ behavior towards the school and support from parents; attitudes towards learning at school; reasons for learning at school. (Only wave 1 and new respondents wave 2: results of the performance test.) 5. Principals survey Demography: Gender; age; volume of current occupation Cooperation between pedagogical staff and teachers: Number of pedagogical staff; linking of lessons and extended offers; time span of the exchange between pedagogical staff and teachers; anchoring the cooperation of pedagogical staff and teachers in the school concept; linking lessons and all-day care; areas of cooperation. (Only wave 2: Support offered by the school/ council for transitional recommendations; communication to school on transitional recommendations.)
