Identification of early glutamate-responsive genes in Arabidopsis

To understand the global effect of Glu on gene expression, we performed RNA-seq analysis to compare the gene expression profiles between Arabidopsis seedlings treated with Glu for 0hr and 0.5hr. Overall design: Total RNA extracted from 14-day-old Arabidopsis seedlings grown on liquid medium containing 1/2 MS-modified basal salt mixture without N (M531, PhytoTechnology Laboratories) and then treated with Glu for 0hr and 0.5hr was used for RNAseq analysis.
